Marina Alabau best Spanish athlete award 2012.

Marina Alabau from Sevville and Joel Gonzalez from gerona received the National Sports Awards to the top male and female athletes in category respectively in the Royal Palace of El Pardo ( Madrid).
The sailor Marina Alabau and taekwondo Joel Gonzalez, Olympic champions in the London Games were awarded the Monday2 December as the Best Spanish Athletes of 2012 at the ceremony for the National Sports Awards , held at the Royal Palace of El Pardo ( Madrid ) . The event was chaired by Her Majesty Queen Sofia , Prince and Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Elena , who accompanied the Minister of Education , Culture and Sport Jose Ignacio Wert, and President of the National Sports Council (CSD ) Miguel Cardenal , numerous presidents and heads of federations and athletes. The Seville , ' Reina Sofia Award ' , the first gold of the Spanish delegation was hung in London by winning the RS: X windsurfing , and relieved in the honors other sailors Tara Pacheco and Berta Betanzos .Andalucía News (1)
