Country House Old Bakery of Valdelarco
The "old bakery" of Valdelarco rehabilitated by Bauksar, is located at the foot of the village church, true emblem of the same, declared Joint Artistic-Historical, by the Junta de Andalucía. Of contemporary architecture its wide spaces are very warm in winter and cool in summer. Tourist Registry nº CR / HU / 138 of 05/07/2004.
The house made with criteria of contemporary architecture, is a joint intervention corner, busily looking light and vision of the environment, without open courtyards that distort the compact nature of these apples.On the ground floor is marble from the near qurry of Navahermosa. In the living room is the bread oven and the machinery restored to amass plus a bathroom and a bedroom. Upstairs from the living room leads to the terrace overlooking the "Lomero" and the Church. The upper floor is constructed with chestnut logs and pinewood planks likewise the roof of the building.The objects and tools of the bakery found among the ruins have benn restored. The host will find an authentic Museum of the old bakery. Guests will find a veritable museum of the bakery without losing the livability of a house. It has been declared "Special Accommodation" by Public Administration Turisme.The town nestled in the heart of the Natural Park of Aracena leave trails of important natural landscape value.Valdelarco has served as a location for scenes from the film "Yerma" based on the work of Garcia Lorca.
